Often some of the most nourishing herbs can have the least desiring taste. It was important to me to make sure your prenatal tea not only did its job but tasted just as good. When we enjoy something, we often will build the long-term habit. Taking the time to sip your prenatal tea will build good habits for the future as you enter the next phase of parenting!

Here is just a little bit about why each herb was chosen for your prenatal blend…

Nettles help support your whole body. This herb is rich in calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium and vitamins A, B & C! What a powerhouse for you and your baby! It’s rich in chlorophyll and has been shown to assist kidney function, blood sugar control and blood pressure.

Red Raspberry Leaf is one of the most well-known herbal remedies used in pregnancy, specifically for its uterine toning abilities. It’s also high in vitamin C, folate, iron, calcium & zinc. Paired with nettles, this is a fantastic way to daily replenish your minerals.

Oat Straw is high in calcium & magnesium. It also promotes a healthy nervous system and encourages relaxation.

Alfalfa is a powerhouse herb! Although its grassy flavor alone can turn people away, it should be reconsidered for its nutritional value. Alfalfa is high in protein and calcium as well as copper, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium & zinc! It’s very high in vitamin K, chlorophyll & amino acids as well.

Lemon Balm for its antiviral & immune boosting properties. It’s also one of my favorite anti-anxiety herbal remedies.

Rose Hips is another powerhouse herb that often is only considered for its Vitamin C content. It’s also high in vitamins E and K, as well as minerals calcium, magnesium and manganese plus omegas to name a few.

A pinch of rose petals is added to finish off this blend for its soothing effect.
